Be a Model

This is an inspiring story of a social revolutionist, Gandhi, that Dad respects.
It goes like this:
To get their son to stop eating sugar, two parents brought their son to Gandhi. He told the parents to bring the son back in 3 days. Ehen they returned, Gandhi said to teh son, "Don't eat so much sugar. Its not good for you." The paretns asked why he didn't say that 3 days ago. "Because, first I needed to stop eating sugar."

Luke 6:31 "Do to others as you would have them do to you."

I am proud of dad and mum

Dad says I am very fierce when I don't smile. Tonight, he thinks he knows why...
while he was searching for my birth cert... yes, he is enrolling me to take part in some healthy baby contest in Braddell ht cc next Sunday, he saw mummy's primary school certificates.

Like Daddy, Mummy was a school prefect too in primary and secondary school. So they do have something in common.... but dad said he was a "joker" in the prefectorial board. Even kanna warning before. Come to think of it, when daddy was the lead actor in about 9 years back, mummy was one of the producers... and how she hated his guts. Today, dad is getting in all back as the director for . LOL3

ANyway, til this stage of my life (nearing 5 months on earth), everybody correctly says that Joshua looks like mummy, I look like daddy. In terms of temperaments, Joshua takes after daddy's playfulness and childlike-ness. As for me, dad is beginning to suspect that I take after mummy....

"o no...." says daddy!!!! How silly can daddy be!!! LOL

I am proud of my brother Joshua

I think I have one of the most lurrrrving brothers on earth. He really cares and sayangs me .... Daddy told him to look after me and mummy and he does. I know my family is one of the greatest gifts God has blessed me with...for life!

Being a Glocal Parent

Daddy thought that it would be easier for him to fly about now that Josh and I are older. But it was such a tearful departure on Sunday night, even though we all knew its gonna be only a week. But one thing daddy was very happy about was fact that we finally had dinner with Nai nai and Ye Ye. I was very happy and I kept "talking" throughout dinner. Bet even daddy was shocked that I could be so talkative. I guess I was just very happy.

Mummy said these few days, I was very aware that daddy was not at home and I was kind of looking for him. Thank God I know Joshua is becoming more understanding.

Daddy is wondering in his heart that like him, how does he balance the demands of work, the opening up of the world through collaboration across countries (Su su just came back from Switzerland) and yet, how can he still be a super daddy to us?
